 The
Historic Crighton
Theatre - Home of the Sounds of Texas
Music Series |

"The beauty of really good
singer-
songwriters - apart from the songs of course - is their handy
adaptability to different venues. They can play pretty much anywhere:
coffee shops, restaurants, honky-tonks, outdoor music festivals,
you name it. Still, no room suits the genre better than an intimate
listening room - or better yet, an intimate listening theater with
truly amazing acoustics. A venue, in other words, exactly like
downtown Conroe's historic Crighton Theatre, proud home of the
sterling Sounds of Texas Music Series. Presenting only a handful
of shows a year, the folks who run this series can afford to be
selective in their bookings, ensuring great lineup season after
season. Even better, the series double-bill presentations
give you twice the songwriter bang for your buck."
